'Dear Grandma' takes the form of cinema stills based on letters my mother sent my great grandma while she was at camp America in the mid 1990s. I found these letters in a box after my great grandma passed away, and discovered an intimate account of their relationship and my mother's surreal life at the time. In my photos I play the role of my mum as I imagine what the adventures she described were like to experience.
